It hit me this morning that my little peanut is closer to being a year old than she is to being a newborn. What. Sometimes I wish I could go into hiding for a year and spend all of my time snuggling her. There’s just not enough time in the day! What a blessing she is. At 6 months she brings us an immeasurable amount of joy. Goodness, we love her.

Went to Disney World. Her favorite part was the parade! And It’s a small world.
Took her first trip to the Christmas tree farm! She was a trooper despite the rain and cold weather!
Went on her longest day trip yet to visit our friend’s and see their new baby. I was surprised by how well she did in the car!
Celebrated Thanksgiving with family at Nana & Papa’s. She enjoyed the extra cuddles.
Has her first ear infection. Poor baby! She’s taking antibiotics now so that should clear it all up!
Spent the night apart from me again. I’m sure it was easier for her than it was for me!
Laughs every time she sneezes.
Said the word, “hey” on multiple occasions. I have witnesses to prove it.
Got pretty close to sitting up unassisted!

Christmas with a baby! What a dream.
Time off as a family. I foresee lots of lazy days!

She’s still in her dockatot in the crib and still sleeping through the night. We love the dockatot! She also used it when we traveled which made her nighttime routine familiar, even in a hotel room! Recommend to all new mamas!
