Circa 1919: Playroom

Our little playroom makes me so happy and more importantly, it makes my girls happy! I shared a bit about it (mainly the cute curtains!) in this post and a bit more over on the Pepper Home blog but wanted to share the rest of the room with y’all as well! Decorating around toddler toys is quite the challenge (alllllllll the colors!) but this room turned out to be so much fun to put together. We wanted a space where the girls could keep their toys, play on the rug and be creative! This is also our main guest space at the moment so a bed was a must. We’re not sure if this room will always be a girl’s club so we skipped out on wallpaper and fun paint for the time being. If we were to welcome a little boy to the fam one day all we’d have to do is swap out the floral textiles on the bench and cafe curtains and maybe add a few accents that are a little less…. pink. This would also make for a fun upstairs living room / hangout space when the kiddos are older or even a homeschool room. SO. This is likely just the first life this playroom will have. What a happy life that is! 🙂

Linked as much as I could below (if it’s not linked, it’s probably and antique find!) but please reach out if you have questions about any of the details!
