February Happenings

For some reason I thought that once we got through graduation and the festivities surrounding the holidays life would slow down a bit. That wasn’t exactly the case but I’m not complaining! Our free time was filled with some of the happiest memories and I couldn’t be more grateful! Here are twelve of my favorite memories from February…

happy memories copy copy

one. The day before Valentine’s, Pearce and I photographed one of my best friend’s proposals. Her entire family (and his) drove down to surprise her. It was the sweetest day! Oh, and I get to be her bridesmaid!!! I couldn’t be more excited for these two. Let the fun begin!

two. We threw a bridal shower for my sister in law, Carrington. It was the perfect way to kick off her wedding festivities! The coffee punch my MIL prepared was definitely the biggest hit at the party. I’ll have to ask her for the recipe to share with y’all! The big day is this weekend so I’ll be sure to take a billion pics.

three. I went wedding dress shopping with my best friend. She looked absolutely stunning in everything she tried on. We didn’t purchase the one that day but she did narrow it down!

four. Catie asked me to be the Maid of Honor (well Matron of Honor) in her wedding. She was my MOH and did an incredible job so I’ve got a lot to live up to. Seriously though, Pearce and I kept joking that we needed to gift her a brand new car for all the hard work she put into making our big day perfect.

five. We spent a couple of days on Amelia visiting our favorite people. Just a few more months until we’re both living back home!

six. I attempted to throw Pearce a surprise birthday party for his 25th. I say attempted because I let the secret out way in advance. Keeping secrets when you’re married is a challenge.

seven. One Friday after work, my little sister and I took a spontaneous trip to Disney. We ate all the junk food we could and rode the silliest rides. Sister bonding at it’s finest.

eight. Pearce and I had the pleasure of attending our friends, Sarah & Jason’s wedding! It was beautiful. Hope those two are having a blast on their honeymoon! 🙂

nine. We stopped by the house to check the progress on things. It’s moving right along!

ten. Finally ordered a wedding album! Hooray! You can read more about our selection here.

eleven. Pearce’s passport came in for his Peru mission trip! I’m so incredibly proud of him.

twelve. We selected our marble slab for the kitchen. I’m 100% obsessed. Now, does anyone have any marble maintenance tips?
