I’m so excited to share one of my favorite Southern makers with y’all! This gal has done exceptional job building a business rooted in Southern charm. I’ve been watching Mimi grow her business for the past three years. She never fails to impress me with her darling aesthetic, upbeat attitude, and eye-catching designs. I remember when she released her garment line and I about fell out of my desk chair… every piece was so original. I mean how CUTE is this dress and this skirt?! Each piece is created with such intention, thoughtfulness and quality.
Meet Mimi,
Mimi, A College Of Charleston 2014 Graduate, left life in the haberdashery world behind and founded the tiny tassel during the summer of 2015. Designing and creating each tassel by hand with hopes of bringing a little joy to life has led her to offer a full line of handmade tassel jewelry, garments (made by Mimi and her mama!) & party decor made up of bright colors and classic preppy prints which are available at retailers across the country as well as her shop, Cannonborough Collective that she co-owns in Charleston, SC.
Don’t you love her already?! It feels exciting to raise a daughter in a time such as this. Where so many women are following their dreams and creating amazing things!
