Our Millie girl has been with us for over two months. The first two months of her life were action-packed but we’re finally starting to find some time to slow down and soak up as much of her sweetness as we can! I adore this little girl. She’s so much like her sister and at the same time so different! I see a lot of myself in this one but sometimes she looks just like her daddy! Her blue eyes will MELT your heart!
One Month Stats
Millie is currently 24 inches long (2 whole feet!) and weighing in at 12lbs 12 ounces! She’s got the cutest little rolls on her arms and legs and still rocks the most DARLING double chin. I can’t get enough of her sweet snuggles!
Her Current Schedule
I wish I had a better schedule for this one throughout the day but she’s truly at the liberty of her big sister’s schedule. They both take an afternoon nap at the same time which is lovely and really the only time I can get any work done other than early morning. Millie is sleeping through the night now (praise the good Lord!) so that’s really all we could ask for!
Her Favorite Things
She’s not much for laying down these days. She wants to sit up, bounce around or have someone hold her so that she can stand. Seems like she might roll over any day! Also think she may be an early walker since she gets her leg workout in each day! 😉
Hardest Moment
Two littles crying at the same time and both needing attention is the hardest. Who do you help first?! Hate not being able to give my all to either one of them.
Sweetest Moment
Girlfriend has started smiling and coo-ing! Oh it’s the most amazing in the whole wide world!
Nursing
We’ve made the switch to full on formula because sweet thing’s tummy seems to handle it so much better than breastmilk. I still have a ton of breast milk in the freezer that I’d love to give her once her tummy troubles are resolved.
Products We’re Loving
Millie is sleeping through the night and the DockaTot gets some of the credit! We used the same DAT with AG, let a friend borrow it and now we’re using it for Millie – so I’d say it’s held up REALLY well!
We finally pulled the trigger on a double stroller and I have already put soooo many miles on this bad boy! I searched and searched for a lightweight double stroller that would work well for walks around town, travel and last us as long as we need a stroller. So much love for the Zoe Twin+ Luxe! I spend more time pushing a stroller these days than I do driving my car.
Babies look like little astronaut marshmallows in these things but they’re SO snuggly and cozy. Millie sleeps in this every night! It’s perfect to use when baby is no longer tiny enough to swaddle!
