My Love-Hate Relationship With Rompers
Up until this summer, my relationship with rompers has been confusing and sad. What are these things? Both shorts and a top, in one? What do I do with my hands? Does this make my torso look abnormally long? Do I add a belt? Is this more of a heels type of thing? But if I wear heels do I look… scandalous? Hey, babe do you like this on me? *hubs stares blankly in confusion*. After a long battle with the romper concept, I decided to give it one more shot and picked out this number from Lyon + Post. The weirdest thing happened when I tried it on… I fell in love. I’ve since purchased two rompers and have about fifty saved in shopping carts around the world wide web. All this to say – rompers are WEIRD. They’re stinkin’ adorable but in my case, took some serious getting used to.
