Primary Bedroom Wallpaper Reveal

EEEEEEEEK!

Our bedroom wallpaper is up and I can’t get over it. Actually obsessed. It’s transformed our room in the happiest way! When in doubt, run with a classic! I went back and forth on a few different design directions for our primary but in the end a timeless Brunschwig & Fils paper. Bird and Thistle is a print I’ve always loved. I considered it for our foyer but ultimately love where it landed! A gorgeous pattern we get to wake up to each morning. We went with a green colorway but the blue and beige are truly spectacular as well.

Now that our wallpaper is up I’ve started to make decisions about trim color (I know that’s a little backwards but I just HAD to see it up first!), bedding, drapes, lampshades and other important details! Not that we need anything else to make this wallpaper SHINE!

When I share about wallpaper projects there are a few questions that come up again and again! Answering those below.

How many rolls did you order for this project? We used 9 rolls. Keep in mind each roll is 11 yards so you get quite a bit of coverage. When selecting paper be sure to have your installer double check measurements!

Did you install the paper yourself? I did not. While I feel very comfortable installing peel and stick wallpaper I outsource traditional paper projects to the pros! Our installer knocked the entire project out in under 5 hours, including plates and outlet/switch covers! Amazing.

How long did it take for the paper to arrive? This paper was fully stocked so we didn’t wait long! As soon as we had a ship date we were able to schedule install. The DB website is very accurate when it comes to product availability so you won’t be left guessing.
